My Story
It started at 3 a.m.
I'm a nurse practitioner. I've spent my career caring for women. And still — when perimenopause arrived for me, I was caught completely off guard.
The 3 a.m. wake-ups. The rage out of nowhere. The brain fog that made me forget the word "refrigerator." The body that felt like it belonged to someone else.
I started asking the same question my patients had been quietly asking me for years: "What in the world is happening to me?"
Menopause, Honey. is what I built from that question.
